Adam Russell
Adam’s career focuses on the principles of regenerative design and permaculture. Broad adoption of these principles will help lead the down-shift to a post-carbon economy.
Adam is a registered architect in NSW, active member of the AIA and Casual Academic at Western Sydney University. He holds a passion for critical design practice and high-quality professional service.
Adam has Think Resilience Certification at the Post Carbon Institute and is an Ambassador for The Living Building Challenge. In 2019 he completed training in Permaculture Living with Permaculture co-founder David Holmgren and more recently was awarded a Permaculture Design Certificate by the Permaculture Education Institute.
Adam has expertise as a designer and thought leader in affordable and alternative housing, public buildings and urban design. Adam also has extensive experience as a design critic, awards juror and assessment panel member in NSW working with industry bodies, universities and local government.
Adam brings a legacy of project experience and knowledge to Saltbush through former leadership roles at Vim Design (Director), DRAW - DeManincor Russell Architecture Workshop (Partner and Principal), RAW Architects (Director) and RobertsDay (Principal).
